According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The western parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain in the Marmara region and the western parts of the Aegean and Mediterranean, and occasional thunderstorms in the Marmara and coastal Aegean regions, while other areas are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy. Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the Marmara and North Aegean coasts. Icing and frost, along with mist and occasional fog, are expected in the inner and eastern parts of our country during the night and morning hours.

No significant change is expected in air temperatures, and they are expected to remain above seasonal norms across our country.

HEAVY PRECIPITATION WARNING

Since precipitation is expected to be heavy (21-50 kg/m2) in the west of Marmara and the Aegean coasts, and locally very heavy and severe (51-100 kg/m2) in the western coasts of Balıkesir and the surroundings of Muğla, it is necessary to be careful and cautious against potential negative consequences.

It is expected to be very cloudy, with local heavy rain and occasional thunderstorms throughout the region (except Bilecik). The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southerly directions in the southwestern parts of the region.
