According to the forecasts made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected across the country (except Çanakkale), in the inner Aegean, Central and Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Isparta.

Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and showers in the Central and Eastern Mediterranean, Southeastern Anatolia, and along the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea until the evening hours, and in the form of sleet and snow in other areas receiving precipitation.

Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the Eastern Black Sea, the western part of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kırklareli, the south of Adana, Hatay, the western parts of Muş, Ardahan, Kars, and Erzurum. Icing and frost are expected in the northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country.

There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in the northern and inner parts, with no significant change expected elsewhere.

YELLOW ALERT FOR 15 CITIES

A yellow alert has been issued for Artvin, Bingöl, Erzincan, Erzurum, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Kars, Kayseri, Rize, Sinop, Sivas, Trabzon, Tunceli, Bayburt, and Ardahan.

MARMARA

Very cloudy, with intermittent rain and sleet expected across the region (except Çanakkale), and snowfall in higher elevations. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Kırklareli during the noon hours. The wind is expected to blow from the north and northeast as strong and short-term storms (50-70 km/h). Haze and occasional fog are expected in the eastern parts of the region.
