On the other hand, the temperature in Istanbul is expected to drop to 5 degrees next week.

Istanbul Aydın University Faculty Member and Meteorological Engineer Güven Özdemir stated that with the cold air wave coming from the poles to Istanbul, there will be a sharp drop of 22 degrees in temperature in a short time.

Noting that this situation will continue until March 17, Özdemir said, "Especially with the effect of the hot air wave coming from the desert, many regions are experiencing days that are reminiscent of summer. In Istanbul, the temperature will rise to 27 degrees on Saturday."

Emphasizing that there will be a change in weather systems starting from March 18, Özdemir said, "The continental polar air mass coming from the poles will cause temperatures to drop rapidly. On Wednesday, the temperature in Istanbul is expected to drop to 5 degrees. This means a sudden temperature drop of 22 degrees in a very short time."
