Sleet and snow are expected in Ankara, Çankırı, Bolu, Kastamonu, Amasya, Tokat, Trabzon, Erzurum, Kars, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, and Siirt, while showers are expected in Çanakkale, Istanbul, Adana, Antalya, Hatay, Düzce, Zonguldak, Samsun, and Urfa. According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the east of the Marmara region, the inner parts of the North Aegean, the Eastern Mediterranean, the north of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia. 

Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms in the southern coastal parts of the country, and sleet and snow in the east of Central Anatolia, the high parts of the Western and Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern parts of the country, along with haze and occasional fog. 

There is a risk of avalanches on steep and sloping terrain in the high inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.
