According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern, inland, and eastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with snowfall expected in the Black Sea region (except Düzce and Bolu), as well as in the surroundings of Erzincan, Ardahan, and Sivas, the north and east of Kayseri, and the east of Yozgat, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy.

The precipitation is expected to be heavy on the Black Sea coasts. The wind is expected to blow strongly from northerly directions in the inland parts of the Mediterranean (40-60 km/h), and strongly with short-term storms (50-70 km/h) from westerly and northwesterly directions on the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea.

Icing and frost, as well as fog and mist, are expected across the country, particularly in the northern, inland, and eastern parts. There is an avalanche danger on the high slopes of the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Temperatures, which are currently below seasonal norms across the country, are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the eastern and inland regions.

WARNING FOR AVALANCHE DANGER, ICING, AND FROST

Due to the expected avalanche danger on the high slopes of the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the steep and sloping terrain of eastern Eastern Anatolia, as well as icing and frost, which may be strong in places in the northern, inland, and eastern parts of the country, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences.
