Yellow alert from Meteorology for 4 cities: Thunderstorms and strong winds are coming

According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, partly to very cloudy weather will be effective in the northern parts of the country. Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern coasts of the Western Black Sea, the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy, especially on the Eastern Black Sea coast. In this context, a yellow alert has been issued for Artvin, Giresun, Rize, and Trabzon.

According to the warning, the showers are expected to be effective starting from the morning hours in the eastern districts of Giresun, the western and eastern districts of Trabzon, the entire province of Rize, and the north of Artvin. Authorities have advised citizens to be cautious against floods, flash floods, lightning, landslides, strong winds during precipitation, and disruptions in transportation.
