Yellow-coded warning from Meteorology for 4 cities: Heavy downpours and storms are coming

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected across the Mediterranean, the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Erzincan), Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Çanakkale, Muğla, Denizli, Konya, Karaman, Niğde, Kayseri, Sinop, Amasya, Tokat, and the coastal parts of Kastamonu and Kırklareli. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the south of Adana, the coasts of Hatay, the east of Rize, and the coastal parts of Artvin.

It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and they will remain below seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow generally from northern directions, light to occasionally moderate, and strong with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) in the Marmara, North Aegean coasts, and Eastern Black Sea coasts.
