HOW WILL PREFERENCE PROCEDURES BE CARRIED OUT AFTER EXAM RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED?

The results of the National Defense University Military Student Candidate Determination Exam, conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) on February 23, have been announced.

Candidates were able to access their exam results on the ÖSYM website at https://sonuc.osym.gov.tr using their Turkish ID number and candidate password.

Candidates will carry out their preference procedures based on the scores they received. Students are now focused on the calendar for the preference process. So, when will MSÜ preferences begin?

WHEN WILL THE 2025 MSÜ PREFERENCE DATES BEGIN?

The Ministry of National Defense announced on its X (Twitter) account that MSÜ preferences have begun.

The statement read:

''Candidate preference procedures for the Military Academies and NCO Vocational Schools affiliated with the National Defense University (2025-MSÜ) have begun today and will end on April 18, 2025. Preference procedures will be carried out at the website https://personeltemin.msb.gov.tr."

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE MILITARY ACADEMY AND NCO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL PREFERENCES BE MADE?

Candidates who participated in the 2025-MSÜ must submit their preferences for the Military Academies and NCO Vocational Schools by visiting https://personeltemin.msb.gov.tr between the dates determined by the Ministry of National Defense. Candidates who do not submit their preferences within the specified period will not be called for the 2nd selection stages. Candidates will be able to choose the following for the Military Academies:

Land Forces Academy Numerical (KHO-SAY)

Land Forces Academy Equal Weight (KHO-EA)

Land Forces Academy Verbal (KHO-SÖZ)

Naval Academy (DHO)

Air Force Academy (HHO)

Coast Guard (Will receive training at the Naval Academy.)

NCO Vocational School Preference Guide

For NCO Vocational Schools:

Land NCO Vocational School (Kara Asb.MYO)

Naval NCO Vocational School (Deniz Asb.MYO)

Air Force NCO Vocational School (Hava Asb.MYO)

Coast Guard (Will receive training at the Naval NCO Vocational School.)

Band NCO Vocational School (Bando Asb.MYO) preferences can be made. Candidates who choose this school will take a music aptitude test. Candidates who do not meet the conditions specified in article "f" on page 32 should not choose this school. In placement procedures, Military Academies and NCO Vocational Schools will be evaluated separately within their own categories.

WHEN WILL CALL AND BASE SCORES BE ANNOUNCED?

The Ministry of National Defense and the National Defense University reserve the right to make changes to the determined procedures, principles, and activity calendar. Since calls will be made according to school quotas for each score type, a different number of candidates may be called for each score type. Details regarding the determined base score and the calling of candidates who score higher than this to the 2nd Selection Stages, as well as call dates, will be published on the website https://personeltemin.msb.gov.tr.

WHICH CONDITIONS APPLY TO BAND NCO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL CANDIDATES?

Candidates for the Band NCO Vocational School who are graduates or will be graduates of Fine Arts and Conservatory High School programs (Music branch or music-oriented branches) and who fall within the determined call quota will be called for exams with priority, regardless of their MSÜ exam score (among candidates whose scores are calculated).
