2024-2025 Eastern Express schedules announced

Ticket prices and departure times for the Tourist Eastern Express, which allows you to travel accompanied by extraordinary scenery just like in postcards, have been announced.

FROM DECEMBER TO MARCH

The Tourist Eastern Express trains will begin their services, departing from Ankara on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between December 23, 2024 (inclusive) and February 28, 2025 (inclusive), and from Kars on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays between December 25, 2024 (inclusive) and March 2, 2025 (inclusive).

TOTAL OF 60 TRIPS

A total of 60 trips will be operated for the 2024-2025 season by the Touristic Eastern Express train, with 30 trips in the Ankara-Kars direction and 30 in the Kars-Ankara direction.

WHICH STATIONS WILL IT STOP AT?

It will make tourist stops at Erzincan and Erzurum stations in the Ankara-Kars direction, and at İliç, Divriği, and Sivas stations in the Kars-Ankara direction.

TRAIN CAPACITY IS 160 PEOPLE

The Touristic Eastern Express trains consist of eight sleeping cars and one dining car. Each sleeping car has 10 compartments, and with each compartment containing two beds, the train's total capacity is 160 people.

HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?

There are 10 compartments in the carriages with a capacity of 20 people.

The room fare for the trains starts at 10,500 TL including VAT depending on the season for a one-way trip, and rises to 13,000 TL after the new year.
