WHAT IS THE IMM YOUNG UNIVERSITY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP?

The IMM Young University Student Scholarship, provided by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) to university students in need, is a social assistance program aimed at supporting the educational lives of young people experiencing financial difficulties.

This scholarship, awarded to thousands of students each year, is designed to alleviate the educational expenses of associate and undergraduate students who reside in or study in Istanbul. After an evaluation among students who meet the specified criteria, the scholarship is delivered to students in three installments.

HOW MUCH IS THE IMM SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT?

The scholarship amount that the IMM will provide to students for the 2024/2025 academic year has been announced.

The educational support, totaling 15,000 TL, will be paid in 3 installments of 5,000 TL + 5,000 TL + 5,000 TL.

WHEN IS THE FIRST INSTALLMENT PAYMENT?

IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced that the first installment of the 15,000 TL support for the Young University Student Support, aimed at 100,000 university students, will be deposited into accounts on January 7, 2025.

In a statement regarding the matter on his social media account, İmamoğlu said, "The first installment of the 15,000 TL young university student education support will be deposited into the accounts of 100,000 of our young people in the first week of the new year. I wish the new year brings success to your educational life."

HOW TO CHECK IMM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION RESULTS?

Students who applied will be able to view their IMM university scholarship results through the 'İstanbul Senin' application or the official 'Young University Student' website.
