32ND TERM POMEM APPLICATION 2025: How and where to apply for police recruitment? Police Academy candidate procedures!

CANDIDATE SELECTION PRE-APPLICATION ANNOUNCEMENT

32nd Term POMEM (police recruitment) pre-applications have been opened for access by the Police Academy Training Center. It has been announced that 12 thousand police officers will be recruited in the 32nd Term. So, how and where is the POMEM (police recruitment) pre-application made? Here are the details.

12 thousand police officers will be recruited for the Police Training Centers (POMEM) in the 32nd Term. Undergraduate graduates must have received at least (60.00) from the 2023 or 2024 KPSS P3 score type, and associate degree graduates must have received at least (65.00) from the 2024 KPSS P93 score type. In addition, candidates must meet the other requirements specified in the Police Vocational Training Centers Entrance Regulation, which entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 06.06.2015 and numbered 29378.

FEMALE AND MALE QUOTAS ARE AS FOLLOWS

A total of (12,000) students will be recruited, consisting of (8,160) male and (1,440) female undergraduate graduates, and (2,040) male and (360) female associate degree graduates.

Associate degree graduates (2,040) male and (360) female, for a total of (12,000) students will be recruited.

32nd Term POMEM (police recruitment) pre-applications have begun.

Candidates will be able to make their Candidate Selection Pre-Applications by logging in with their e-government password at http://www.pa.edu.tr between November 21 and December 09, 2024, until 17.00 on Monday, December 09, 2024, which is the deadline for applications.

32ND TERM POMEM (POLICE RECRUITMENT) APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

a) To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,
b) To be a graduate of an undergraduate or associate degree program, or a higher education institution abroad whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education,
c) To have received the base score or higher determined by the Ministry in the KPSS, (For undergraduate graduates, to have received at least (60.00) from the KPSS undergraduate P3 score type taken in 2023 or 2024; for associate degree graduates, to have received at least (65.00) from the KPSS associate degree P93 score type taken in 2024.)
ç) For spouses or children of martyrs or those disabled in the line of duty, to have received at least 80% of the score determined in clause (c) of Article 8 of the POMEM Entrance Regulation, (For spouses and children of martyrs or those disabled in the line of duty, to have received at least (48.00) from the KPSS undergraduate P3 score type taken in 2023 or 2024 for undergraduate graduates, and at least (52.00) from the KPSS associate degree P93 score type taken in 2024 for associate degree graduates.)
d) Not to have reached the age of 30 as of January 01 of the year the exam is held, provided that the age before the correction is taken into account in age corrections made after completing the age of 18 (to have been born on or after January 01, 1995),
e) Not to be shorter than 162 cm for women and 167 cm for men, and to have a BMI (body mass index) between 18 (inclusive) and 27 (inclusive),
f) Not to have any legal obstacle to carrying a weapon or performing armed duty,
g) To meet the conditions specified in the Health Conditions Regulation regarding health status,
ğ) Even if the periods specified in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 dated 26.09.2004 have passed, the candidate;

1) Not to have been sentenced to imprisonment for one year or more, even if a decision has been made to defer the announcement of the verdict for an intentionally committed crime,
2) Not to have been convicted of crimes against the security of the state, crimes against the constitutional order and the functioning of this order, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, abuse of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, rigging the bid, rigging the performance of the act, laundering assets derived from crime, smuggling, or crimes against sexual immunity, even if they have been pardoned or a decision has been made to defer the announcement of the verdict, or not to have an ongoing investigation or prosecution for these crimes, or not to have had a prosecution result in a settlement,
h) Not to have worked in brothels, meeting places, rendezvous houses, residences where prostitution is carried out alone, and similar places, or not to have been involved in mediation or pimping, not to have produced or sold any kind of written, audio, or visual works contrary to general morality and decency, regardless of the material on which they are recorded, or not to have an ongoing judicial or administrative investigation or prosecution regarding gambling, drugs, or stimulants, not to have been subject to administrative sanctions for these, or not to have been convicted due to these matters,
ı) To submit a written declaration that they are not a member of any political party or sub-organizations of political parties as of the date of temporary registration,
i) Not to have received or be receiving treatment for alcohol, drug, or stimulant use,
j) Not to be deprived of the use of public rights,
k) Not to have been dismissed from police training institutions, except for the provisions of the Health Regulation,
l) To have a positive security investigation and archive research.
