A much-discussed AI move from Anthropic: "Claude Opus 4" has been introduced!

Anthropic states that the new models possess an "extended thinking" feature that allows for simultaneous multi-tool usage.

With this feature, which is still in the beta stage, the artificial intelligence can use functions such as internet searches in parallel while executing a task. This allows for the generation of more comprehensive and accurate responses.

According to the test results shared by the company, Claude Opus 4 and Sonnet 4 have surpassed the previous model, Claude Sonnet 3.7, while also managing to outperform competitors such as OpenAI's GPT-4.1 model and Google's Gemini 2.5 Pro model in coding skills.

However, it was reported that the OpenAI o3 model performed better in some tests involving doctoral-level biology, physics, and chemistry questions.

WILL IT BE FREE?

According to Anthropic's statement, Claude Sonnet 4 will be offered to all users for free. Users who wish to gain access to Claude Opus 4 will be required to pay a fee.

The model will be offered via Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI, and users will pay 15 dollars for 1 million input tokens and 75 dollars for 1 million output tokens.

Anthropic's new models are further intensifying competition in the field of artificial intelligence while promising a qualitative leap in user experience.
