A second Ahmet Minguzzi case... Street gangs ended the life of a 22-year-old!

A dispute that occurred late Sunday night in Ankara's Keçiören district turned into a bloody incident. Hakan Çakır, who operated a çiğköfte shop on Adnan Yüksel Street in the Etlik neighborhood, was walking home with his mother and sister when he began arguing over right-of-way with brothers Taha Z. (14) and Samet Z. (17), who were sitting on the stairs.

THE DISPUTE TURNED INTO A FIGHT

The argument quickly escalated into a fight. Hakan Çakır’s older brother, Hakkı Can Çakır, and his father, Şahin Çakır, also joined the fray. During the incident, Hakan Çakır was stabbed and lost his life, while his father and brother were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

3 PEOPLE ARRESTED, ONE RELEASED

As a result of the investigation launched into the incident, 19-year-old Emir Z., his father Cemal Z. (45), and his two brothers, Taha Z. and Samet Z., were taken into custody. The suspects were referred to the courthouse and arrested, while another suspect, U.K., was released. The arrested suspects' social media photos, in which they posed with guns, swords, and knives, drew significant attention.

The details of the incident cameto light through the statements made by HakanÇakır's mother,SevenderÖzkan Çakır.Çakır stated,"We left the shop with my daughter and were heading home. Someone on the stairs cursed at us and harassed us. My daughter panicked, and I was scared.We called Hakan, and he arrived.When Hakan got there, they struck the first blow against my son.Once they hit him, he retaliated."Ali D., a witness to the incident, stated that Hakan Çakır’s mother and sister had been harassed and had called for help.Ali D. said, "When Hakan arrived, they dispersed, but then they regrouped, raided the shop, and stabbed Hakan, his brother, and his father. These kids share photos on social media with long-barreled weapons, swords, and knives. They have no fear; we have encountered similar incidents in the past."

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
