The Aegean Sea continues to shake: 3 earthquakes in 20 minutes!

The Aegean Sea has been shaking like a cradle since January 28. The seismic activity that began in the region has been continuing for days.

According to the latest data shared by AFAD, 3 earthquakes, the strongest of which was 4.8, were recorded today between 14:23 and 14:43.

According to AFAD data, earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.8 at 14:23, 3.8 at 14:27, and 4.3 at 14:43 were recorded in the region.

Experts' investigations into the seismic activity in the Aegean Sea are ongoing. While it is noted that Turkey's Aegean coasts are also at risk, measures have been increased in provinces such as Muğla.

Santorini Island, which has become the epicenter of the earthquakes, has been almost entirely evacuated.

In the island where a state of emergency has been declared, security measures have also been increased by the Greek government to prevent negative incidents such as theft.
