The latest tremor, recorded at 16:04, caused alarm. AFAD announced the magnitude as 5.2, while the Kandilli Observatory reported the magnitude of the earthquake as 5.3.

The earthquake, recorded at a depth of 7 kilometers, relatively close to the surface, has further escalated the intense concern in the region.
