Prices for the National Vehicle Identification System have been announced.

The price for a Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB) has been set at 1,810 TL (excluding VAT) per unit. This price includes the installation service fee that vehicle owners will pay to authorized companies.

Alper Önkol, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Turpak, stated, "With the strong infrastructure and expertise gained over 25 years, we have completed all our preparations across 81 provinces with 200 fixed and 50 mobile teams to provide installation, service, and call center support for the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) throughout Turkey."

The unit prices for the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) valid for 2024 have been determined. According to the announcement, the price for one Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB) has been set at 1,810 TL (excluding VAT).

Payments, which include the cost of the installation service to be performed by authorized companies, can be made to the bank account specified on the official website of the Mint and Stamp Printing House General Directorate, www.utts.gov.tr.

These unit prices, specific to the year 2024, will be increased in 2025 and beyond at the rate of the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, and the new prices will come into effect at the beginning of each year.

On the other hand, it is stated that commercial vehicle owners are required to install the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) in their vehicles in order to be able to declare fuel expenses as business costs by the end of the year. It is a system that enables the automatic transfer of vehicle license plate information to cash registers connected to fuel pumps during fuel sales transactions at gas stations.

Through the Vehicle Identification Unit (TTB) mounted on vehicles and the Vehicle Identification Reader (TTO) attached to fuel pump nozzles, vehicle license plate information is detected and transmitted to the Nozzle Communication Module (TİM) device.

The TİM device automatically transfers this license plate information to the cash register, preventing the manual entry of vehicle license plate information.
