Following the newborn gang scandal that caused public outrage, a ‘dialysis gang’ has emerged. Journalist Fatih Ergin revealed the details of the scandal on Sözcü TV.
Journalist Fatih Ergin explained that bedridden patients were being irregularly transferred to private hospitals with dialysis units.
Stating that the patient's history and epicrisis reports were not reviewed at the private hospitals to which they were transferred, Ergin noted that some patients' files were marked as “connected to dialysis” even though they were not.
Ergin stated that while patient relatives were restricted from seeing details on the e-Nabız system, the primary targets were elderly patients.
