AKP members clash on social media: 'Both bald and arrogant'

Former AKP Mayor of Ağrı, Savcı Sayan, responded harshly to the criticisms directed at him by former deputy Mehmet Metiner, whom he stated is from the same tribe. 

Sayan stated that Metiner attacked his personal rights and political reputation under the guise of a "warning." Criticizing the level of the remarks and Metiner's attitude, Sayan said, "We are not weather vanes, we are politicians."

Former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner had directed criticisms toward Savcı Sayan, who is known for his remarks regarding the peace process.

However, Sayan gave a harsh response after his name was mentioned in Metiner'sstatements.Sayan stated that Metiner has no right to warn him and used the following expressions:

“My so-called relative Metiner, who gets caught up in the wind of assigning himself a role and mission in every era; who says, ‘I have captured the spirit of the era, there is no one smarter or more talented than me. Only I see, I sense, I know.’ Apparently, he saw me in his dream last night too. With an air of attributing sanctity to himself, this time he has granted himself the authority to warn me. With a long article, with an endless pen handed to him by others, he has warned me. Both to the knee, and to the top. Both bald, and arrogant.”
