Kazandere Dam in the Vize district of Kırklareli, which reached 100 percent occupancy last year, is sounding the alarm this year. The water level of the dam, which drops more every day, has reached the point of drying up.

According to data from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the water level in Kazandere, which has a capacity of 17 million 42 thousand cubic meters, was measured at 8 percent. Cracks have formed in some parts of the dam where there is no water.
