Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç had praised the transfer of Oğuz Aydın at an event he attended, saying, "We signed Oğuz Aydın. Yesterday he (Mourinho) said to me, 'President, you brought in a top top top player'."

However, as of October 27, 23-year-old Oğuz Aydın has only received 22 minutes of playing time.

Having appeared in 3 official matches, Aydın played for 20 minutes in the first Champions League qualifying match against Lille and 1 minute in the second match.
