All eyes on the Cabinet... What figure is being discussed for the retiree bonus?

 With the approach of the Ramadan Feast, the countdown has begun for the retiree bonus, which has excited 16.6 million retirees. The latest details regarding the amount of the retiree bonus have emerged. 

MEETINGS HAVE ACCELERATED 

Work on the retiree bonus increase has gained momentum. According to information provided by AKP sources, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the raise should be granted and requested that a study be conducted based on economic balances regarding how much it will be. 

Following Erdoğan's instructions, AKP officials met under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.

The meeting, which took place on Thursday evening, was attended by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, and Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan. Economic bureaucrats analyzed the effects of the retiree bonus increase on the budget. During the negotiations, an increase option of 1,000 TL came to the fore.

WHAT WILL THE INCREASE RATE BE?

Following the meeting, AKP officials reported that an increase between 750 TL and 1,000 TL for the retiree bonus is more likely.

 With the planned increase, the retiree bonus is expected to rise by 1,000 TL to reach 4,000 TL. The announcement to be made tomorrow is eagerly awaited to finalize the increase rate for the retiree bonus.
