Retirees are anticipating a raise for their 2025 holiday bonuses. Initially set at 1,000 TL for each holiday in 2018, the bonus was increased to 1,100 TL in 2021 and to 2,000 TL in 2023.

As of 2024, it was increased to the 3,000 TL level following a 50 percent raise. Whether a new raise will be applied to the bonus in 2025 has not yet been clarified.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan stated that work regarding retiree holiday bonuses is ongoing. Minister Işıkhan made the statement, "We will work on the retiree bonus. However, it is still too early to talk about figures."
