Apple warns millions of iPhone users: Install the iOS 17.6 update

Apple has released the beta version of its iOS 18 operating system, which it introduced in recent months, to users.

Interested users can easily register for the beta versions and experience them early.

On the other hand, updates for the current iOS 17 operating system are also continuing.

Released last year for millions of iPhones, iOS 17 drew attention with the innovations it brought.

Now all eyes are on iOS 18, and the recently released update indicates that the end has finally come for iOS 17.

Although Apple does not provide many details, it states that the iOS 17.6 update "provides important bug fixes and security updates." However, the reality is not limited to just that.

Because with the latest update, the company is also integrating 30 security patches into devices.

This reveals that iPhones were actually at risk and could have been exposed to a major cyberattack.

Therefore, Apple recommends installing this update, which includes security patches, as soon as possible.

Additionally, some known bugs are fixed with iOS 17.6.

You can install iOS 17.6, which is expected to be the final update before the transition to iOS 18, on your devices by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Meanwhile, Apple has also accelerated its iOS 18 testing.

While the iOS 18 Beta 4 update was recently released for developers, Apple Intelligence features have been made available for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

iOS 18 will become official with the iPhone 16 series, which will be introduced in September.
