It was learned that the reason for the star actor's new look is the filming of his new movie titled "The Man with the Bag." In the film "The Man with the Bag," the former governor of California plays Santa Claus opposite 42-year-old "Reacher" star Alan Ritchson.

"The Man with the Bag" follows Santa Claus as he tries to retrieve his stolen magic bag and asks for help from a former thief to save Christmas.

The film will be Schwarzenegger's first movie since the 2019 film "Terminator: Dark Fate." It will also be his first holiday film since he starred in the 1996 movie "Jingle All The Way."

The actor shared his excitement about "The Man with the Bag" in a post he shared on Instagram on Monday. Under a photo taken on set with Ritchson, Schwarzenegger wrote, "Santa Claus is coming to town! It's great to be filming The Man with the Bag with @alanritchson."

The star praised the film's director, Adam Shankman, calling him "one of the funniest directors I've ever worked with."
