Aydemir Akbaş's will revealed: The notable Galatasaray detail

Aydemir Akbaş, a master actor of Yeşilçam who had been battling lung cancer for some time, has passed away at the age of 88.

The news of the death of Akbaş, who had previously beaten throat cancer, has plunged the art community into mourning.

Following Akbaş's death, the statement he made years ago regarding his will has come to the fore once again.

The veteran actor had requested that her cats be well cared for after her passing.

"DON'T YOU DARE MAKE A FILM OF MY LIFE"

Akbaş, who did not want her life to be made into a film, had stated, "Don't you dare make a film of my life because they wouldn't be able to capture the truth of it."

It was known that Akbaş, whose decision on who would inherit the fortune he amassed over a career spanning more than 50 years was a subject of curiosity, would leave his estate to Galatasaray.

"I WILL DONATE MY INHERITANCE TO GALATASARAY"

Aydemir Akbaş, known as a die-hard Galatasaray fan, said the following regarding his assets in a statement he made in 2021:

"I don't have much in savings, but I will donate my inheritance to the Galatasaray Association. I will first check if any of my relatives are in need, and I will make my decision accordingly."

FUNERAL CEREMONY FOR AYDEMİR AKBAŞ

A ceremony will be held for Akbaş tomorrow at 11:00 AM at Galatasaray High School.

Following the ceremony, Akbaş will be laid to rest at Feriköy Cemetery after the noon prayer at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque.
