Ülkü Ocakları President Yıldırım threatened IYI Party Chairman Dervişoğlu with the words, "Perform your belly dance for those who hold your leash. Don't bring trouble upon yourself from us... We will teach you your place..."

An angry response to Yıldırım's threatening statements came from Ayşe Ateş, the wife of the murdered former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş.

In a post on her X account, Ateş expressed her resentment, saying, "The Marquis de Sade says, 'There is nothing more encouraging than the first crime that has gone unpunished.' I cannot help but ask: What will you do, Ahmet? Will you do as you did to Sinan?"

IYI Party leader Dervişoğlu had said at his party's parliamentary group meeting, referring to Bahçeli, "In Adana parlance, he has become a 'kirişte' (a spineless person) and calls the IYI Party a 'weathercock.' Look at this gentleman. Do you think we don't know who is spinning you like a top?"
