Famous actor Berk Atan was spotted by cameras for the first time following the traffic accident he experienced on April 19 while on set in Eskişehir. Atan, who plays the lead role in the series Gönül Dağı, was taken to the hospital after the accident and treated in intensive care. After being discharged, the actor went through a long recovery process.

HE WAS TAKEN TO INTENSIVE CARE AFTER THE ACCIDENT

On April 19, while he was on his way to the set in Eskişehir, the vehicle he was in veered off the road and overturned. Injured in the accident, Berk Atan was rushed to the hospital and remained in intensive care for a period. During this time, Atan, who found morale in the support messages from his fans, expressed his feelings in a post he shared on social media.

“SEEING HOW MUCH I AM LOVED WAS THE GREATEST STRENGTH IN GETTING ME BACK ON MY FEET”

Making a statement on his Instagram account shortly after the accident, Atan said, “I would like to thank everyone who wondered, called, asked, and whom I could not get back to. Seeing how much I am loved after this bad incident was the greatest strength that got me back on my feet. Thank God, I am fine. My family, friends, and loved ones are by my side. I am in a recovery process, and I will get even better. I would like to thank everyone once again who has called, asked, and not spared their prayers since yesterday. May God be pleased with everyone.”

“I STILL HAVE 6 BROKEN RIBS”

Spotted for the first time days after a long rest period, Berk Atan spoke to 2. Sayfa reporters about his health status. Atan thanked his fans once again, saying, “May God be pleased with everyone who called, asked, and prayed.”

Providing information about his health, the actor said, “We had a bad accident. But thank God we are on our feet. I still have 6 broken ribs. There is nothing that can be done for the ribs; we are waiting for them to heal on their own.”

“I AM RETURNING TO THE SET, WE WILL FILM THE SEASON FINALE”

Berk Atan stated that he would return to the Gönül Dağı series shortly. Saying that he would participate in the filming for short periods even though he has not fully recovered physically, Atan said, “I will go to the set next week. Hopefully, we will film 2-3 episodes back-to-back without getting too tired and do the season finale.”
