Beşiktaş set to drop a Mane bombshell: Here are the 4 obstacles to the transfer...
Beşiktaş, which has been integrating key names into its starting 11 with pinpoint transfers, is preparing for a bombshell signing.
Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat traveled to Saudi Arabia last week and held a meeting with his close friend, Al Nassr President Musalli Al-Muammar.
During the meeting, a principle agreement was reached between Beşiktaş and Al Nassr for the two clubs to provide each other with priority in player transfers.
According to a report by İsmail Er from Hürriyet, Arat requested assistance from his close friend Al-Muammar regarding the transfer of Mané during this meeting. Reports also suggest that Mané is no longer in the plans at Al Nassr, does not wish to play there anymore, and is open to a move to Beşiktaş as he desires to continue his career in a Muslim country.
While it is suggested that a famous businessperson will provide financial support to Beşiktaş for this transfer, convincing Mane and Al Nassr may not be enough for the black-and-white team.
Beşiktaş, which currently has 17 foreign players and is already 3 over the limit, must part ways with or freeze the contract of a 4th player if it wants to sign Mané.
Aboubakar, Chamberlain, and Amartey are at the top of the list of players to depart.
Mane transferred from Bayern to Al-Nassr last season for a fee of 30 million euros.
Mane, who once reached a value of 120 million euros, now has a current market value of 15 million euros.
