Bombshell behind-the-scenes report on upcoming operations: 'Even the most loyal supporters...'

Journalist İsmail Saymaz made striking assessments on the "Para Siyaset" program hosted by Ebru Baki on Halk TV. According to Saymaz, the focus of operations before and after the March 31 elections was primarily on CHP mayors, bureaucrats, and politicians without immunity.

Saymaz stated that the operations have now extended to the AKP circle as well:

"The risk of investigation that was once at the door of CHP members has now reflected onto the AK Party circle and has created fear in that circle as well."

"THEY ARE WAITING TO SEE IF THE POLICE WILL COME"

Noting that individuals such as former Central Bank Deputy Governor Emrah Şener, the General Manager of the Interbank Card Center, and energy company owners have been detained and arrested, Saymaz said, "Some are waiting as prospective suspects to see if the police will come."

Saymaz recalled that within the scope of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) investigation, businesspeople known to be close to the AKP, such as Hamdi Akın, Vedat Aşçı, and Murat Özyeğin, were also called in to testify.

According to Saymaz, the operation against the Can-Ciner Group should also be taken into account. Saymaz stated that the AKP government is now sending a message that there is 'no balance' in the media:

"HaberTürk was not pro-government, but it was not opposition either. It was maintaining a balance in its own way. And now they have said, 'There is no balance, my friend.' 'Either you are with us or you are on the other side'."

"A SENIOR STATE OFFICIAL TOLD ME TO BUY IT"

Saymaz stated that the Can Group is a "conservative family close to the AKP." Saymaz said that the Can Group's acquisitions were also made with the guidance of 'a senior state official':

"Kemal Can said in his statement that their purchase of Bilgi University and the Ciner Group was on the recommendation of a senior state official. That senior state official is probably not Ekrem İmamoğlu."

"IT CANNOT BE DONE WITHOUT ERDOĞAN'S APPROVAL"

"These businessmen grew thanks to Erdoğan, but they also made calculations for the post-Erdoğan era without being too obvious. What did they do? They did business with İmamoğlu. They made another investment in their own way."

According to Saymaz, the money of unknown origin that entered Turkey between 2016 and 2023 kept the economy and the government afloat, but this order became an obstacle to Mehmet Şimşek's policy of reintegration with the West.

"This system has now become a shackle on the feet," said Saymaz, drawing attention to allegations of cigarette smuggling behind the Can Group and stating the following:

"One of the reasons for the operations is to record the elements that appear to be off-the-books and to record the capital they hold... Because here too, this money can somehow go abroad. It has also been taken out by some businessmen."

"EVEN THE MOST LOYAL SUPPORTERS..."

Saymaz emphasized that there is "no restrictive attitude" in the operations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office:

"Their path has been cleared with a 'go ahead and do it' attitude, and they are carrying out all these investigations one by one."

Saymaz said that even businesspeople known as the most "loyal supporters of the President" (reisçi) in the AKP circle could be taken in for questioning by the police one morning:

"In this respect, from now on, everyone, including businessmen known as the most loyal supporters of the President among them, could suddenly find themselves being taken to the prosecutor's office with police holding both of their arms."
