Yusuf Et Çelik Döner, one of Bursa’s long-established doner kebab chains, has filed for a concordat due to financial difficulties.
The company's application was accepted by the court, and a three-month temporary grace period was granted. During this time, the firm will attempt to overcome its economic bottleneck and prevent bankruptcy.
While there is speculation that the company, which has entered a bottleneck, may close some of its chain branches during this period, it is expected to restructure its financial situation and reach an agreement with its creditors.
In accordance with the measures taken under the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law during the process, all foreclosure, enforcement, and seizure proceedings against Yusuf Et Çelik Döner have been suspended.
Similarly, collection processes under the Law on Public Receivables No. 6183 have also been temporarily halted. During this period, it will not be possible to initiate any new enforcement proceedings against the company.
