Cadillac joins Formula 1: There are now 11 teams

An official statement has been released by Formula 1, the world's most-watched motorsport organization, regarding the application from General Motors.

The US automotive giant General Motors had long been striving to enter Formula 1, the biggest organization in motorsports. Initially, it was expected that the company would join the organization with the Andretti-Cadillac team. However, the statement revealed that this was not the case.

CADILLAC JOINS AS THE 11TH TEAM

The news that General Motors had been waiting for has finally arrived. According to the statement from Formula 1, General Motors will take its place in Formula 1 as the 11th team with its Cadillac brand.

IT WILL BE THE 2ND AMERICAN TEAM

The organization, which has long continued with 10 teams and 20 drivers, will now have 11 teams and 22 drivers.

At the same time, the Cadillac team will be the 2nd US-based team on the grid, following the HAAS team.
