Çağatay Ulusoy returns to the screen! The series 'Eşref Rüya' has begun

Çağatay Ulusoy’s new series Eşref Rüya met with the audience last night on Kanal D with its first episode. Having not appeared on television screens since 2016 and taking a break from TV series, Çağatay Ulusoy had mostly been in the spotlight for his work in films and on digital streaming platforms.

The 34-year-old Ulusoy returned to television screens with the series ‘Eşref Rüya,’ in which he shares the lead role with Demet Özdemir.

The cast of the series Eşref Rüya, starring Demet Özdemir and Çağatay Ulusoy, includes Necip Memili, Büşra Develi, Ahmet Rıfat Şungar, Tolga Tekin, Görkem Sevindik, Ceren Benderlioğlu, Ebrar Karabakan, Umut Karadağ, Kaan Turgut, Aşkın Şenol, Şener Savaş, Ahmet Yıldırım, Kerem Alp Kabul, Bartu Zeytinci, Gökçem Çoban, Volkan Uygun, Taylan Güldere, Feriha Eyüboğlu, and veteran actor Macit Koper.

WHAT IS THE PLOT OF EŞREF RÜYA?

Directed by Uluç Bayraktar, the series is written by the duo Ethem Özışık and Lokman Maral. In the series Eşref Rüya, the first episode of which aired last night, a young man named Eşref searches for years for a girl named Rüya, whom he fell in love with from afar when he was a child; however, during this search, he transforms into a powerful mafia member.

During this time, a musician named Nisan enters Eşref’s life, and Eşref falls in love with her. Eşref will find himself trapped in a triangle of love, betrayal, and a power struggle, and will find himself in the middle of a major reckoning. Eşref Rüya can be watched on Kanal D every Wednesday at 20.00.
