Campaigns for 2024 model vehicles have begun! Models that fall under the new SCT limit have been announced

The revaluation rate, calculated in line with the Turkish Statistical Institute's domestic PPI data for October, has increased the SCT exemption limit.

Accordingly, the SCT-exempt vehicle limit, which was 1 million 561 thousand TL throughout 2024, will rise to 2 million 290 thousand TL with a 43.93 percent increase starting from January 1, 2025.

CAMPAIGNS AND DISCOUNTED MODELS

Towards the end of the year, dealerships have begun organizing campaigns for every make and model in order to clear out 2024 production models. Speaking to Milliyet, İMAS President Hayrettin Ertemel states that various price discounts and financing facilities are being provided for every make and model in the last quarter of the year.

However, he adds that due to the price increases experienced since the summer months, the campaign prices are higher compared to the previous period.

In the Turkish automotive market, models such as the Hyundai i10, Kia Picanto, Hyundai i20, Renault Clio, and Fiat Egea are offered at the most affordable prices.

While the prices of these vehicles start from 950 thousand TL, they can go up to the 1 million 100 thousand TL level.

MODELS ENTERING THE NEW SCT EXEMPTION LIMIT

With the new limit regulation, many popular models such as the TOGG 10x, VW T-ROC, Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland, and Toyota Corolla will be included in the scope of the SCT exemption, provided that the engine displacement does not exceed 1.6 liters.

It is worth remembering that the upper limit covers the total price including all taxes.

Many brands continue to organize special year-end campaigns to clear their stocks. However, considering economic factors such as inflation and exchange rate fluctuations, a major drop in new and used car prices is not expected.

Following the increase in new car prices in September, it is also stated that campaign prices may be slightly higher than the figures from the middle of the year.

This period of the year offers significant opportunities for those considering becoming vehicle owners, with both attractive campaigns and updated SCT exemption limits.
