In Istanbul, the details revealed in the indictment prepared against 47 suspects, 22 of whom are under arrest, who acted in concert with individuals working at the 112 Emergency Call Center to transfer emergency baby patients to the neonatal units of private hospitals they had pre-arranged, causing their deaths and generating illicit profits, are truly chilling.

The indictment states that while patient relatives and chief physicians were not part of the organization's hierarchy, they provided assistance to the organization and gained financial benefits. Furthermore, it was noted that the suspects increased the revenue generated in neonatal intensive care units by 3-4 times through these actions.

It was explicitly stated that instead of transferring the sick babies to hospitals where they would receive appropriate healthcare, they were admitted to hospitals that appeared profitable for the organization chosen by the suspects.
