Chain-reaction accident in Afyonkarahisar! Gendarmerie station commander dies, 15 people injured
A chain-reaction traffic accident in Afyonkarahisar has left a gendarmerie station commander dead and 15 others injured.
A chain-reaction traffic accident involving 6 vehicles occurred near the village of Çayıryazı in the Çay district.
Police, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following the accident, in which 16 people in the vehicles were injured.
Among the injured taken to Çay State Hospital, Gendarmerie Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Ali Durgut could not be saved despite all interventions.
It was learned that Durgut was serving as the Karadilli Station Commander in the Şuhut district.
