Following the 21st Extraordinary Congress and the determination of the Party Assembly (PM) members, the CHP held its first meeting with the new PM members under the chairmanship of Özgür Özel. The meeting began at 12:00 at the party headquarters, and the election of MYK members is expected.

CHAIRMANSHIP ELECTION

Özgür Özel, who was re-elected as CHP Chairman by receiving 1,171 votes in the chairmanship election he entered as the sole candidate at the Extraordinary Congress, submitted the key list he presented to the congress for the approval of the delegates. While the list was accepted in its entirety, no candidate outside the key list was able to break through.

NAMIK TAN'S NEW ROLE

In the new term under the chairmanship of Özgür Özel, the members of the Central Executive Committee (MYK) will also take shape.

In the corridors, it is expected that Istanbul Deputy Namık Tan will be appointed as the Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tan will play an important role in shaping the party's foreign policy strategies.

BAHADIR ERDEM TO REPLACE VOLKAN DEMİR

According to T24, Bahadır Erdem is expected to be appointed as the Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of Trade, replacing Volkan Demir, who is expected to be appointed as the Secretary General of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB).

It was noted that the appointment of Bahadır Erdem, known for his expertise in international trade and arbitration, is another possibility being discussed in the corridors.
