BÜLENT ERSOY

The famous artist was arrested on September 19, 1980, after insulting a judge who came to her home, and was placed in a special section of the İzmir Buca Prison.

Ersoy, who was sentenced to 11 months and 20 days in prison, had her sentence suspended after taking into account the 45 days she had already served.

Later, Ersoy was placed in the women's ward of the Söke Prison for 2 months following allegations that she attacked a journalist in Kuşadası and broke their camera.

GÖKHAN ÖZEN

Singer Gökhan Özen, who kidnapped and beat a hairdresser who had verbally harassed his girlfriend, served 2 months in prison for assault.

Gökhan Özen stated, 'Only my car was involved in the incident, but I don't know why I was sentenced to prison.'

Tarık Akan

Following the September 12, 1980 military coup, he was arrested upon his return to Turkey in early 1981 due to a speech he gave in Germany.

The prosecutor demanded a 12-year prison sentence for Akan, who was brought before the court. After a trial that lasted two years, Tarık Akan was sentenced to 2.5 months of solitary confinement.
