WHY WAS THE BOUT POSTPONED?

The boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. However, it was announced that the fight was postponed to a later date because Mike Tyson was unable to train.

Tyson's statement is as follows;

"I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding. Unfortunately, due to an ulcer flare-up, my doctor advised me to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover. My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s, and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end, you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good. I appreciate everyone's patience and can't wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year."

THE BOUT WILL CONSIST OF 8 ROUNDS OF 2 MINUTES EACH

According to the fight rules, the fighters will be allowed to knock out their opponents. The match will consist of eight rounds, with each round lasting 2 minutes. This duration will provide the fighters with the opportunity to execute their strategies and analyze their opponents.

14 oz gloves will be used in the fight, and no headgear will be worn.
