Deadly McDonald's bacteria in the US! Cause of the outbreak revealed

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) stated, "Fresh slivered onions used in McDonald's Quarter Pounders and some other menu items are the likely source of this outbreak."

It was stated that the onions in question were supplied by Taylor Farms and have been voluntarily recalled by the company.

REMOVED FROM THE MENU

McDonald's has also removed these onions from its menus.

In connection with the outbreak, 90 people have fallen ill, 27 have been hospitalized, and an elderly man in Colorado has died due to these burgers, which were temporarily removed from menus at restaurants across 12 US states.

In a statement on Sunday, McDonald's announced that it would resume sales of the Quarter Pounder after E. coli test results came back negative.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

The E. coli bacterium causes stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting that can last for three to four days.

Although most people recover without the need for treatment, complications can develop in some patients.
