The death of FETÖ ringleader Fethullah Gülen brings Kamer Genç to mind: He had warned the AKP with these words!

Following the death of FETÖ ringleader Fethullah Gülen, Kamer Genç’s remarks regarding Fethullah Gülen have returned to the agenda.

Former Deputy Speaker of the TBMM and former CHP Tunceli MP Kamer Genç spoke about Fethullah Gülen from the floor of the TBMM on June 10, 2009, and warned the AKP government.

Kamer Genç, who passed away in 2016, had said the following:

“You know better than I do. Especially the AKP MPs who go to America visit Fethullah Gülen. Now, let us open this Parliament one day for this Fethullah Gülen. Who is this friend of ours? What does he want to do in Turkey? Where does this capital of his come from? I wonder what his role is in the picture in Turkey? Let us investigate these. Why are you afraid of this? 

Well, tomorrow you will suffer the greatest harm from it. I will not; my thoughts are already clear. Since my thoughts are clear, let us investigate.

 A very great danger has come for Turkey. I have been in this parliament for 30 years, for a certain time here. Look, none of you have as much experience as I do. I am saying that there is a danger here in Turkey. Let us see this danger. The regime in Turkey is slipping away. Turkey is in a very serious transformation.”
