The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has released data regarding deposits held in banks. Accordingly, Turkey's wealthiest and poorest provinces have been identified.
Savings in Turkey are distributed across various areas. Those who keep money in bank deposits, gold investors, those holding foreign currency, and those looking to evaluate their savings in many items such as bonds, stocks, and funds are all active. Investors who know what they will receive at the end of the month with time deposits and do not want to take risks evaluate their savings in this way.
Two metropolises stand out as the provinces with the highest deposits in terms of savings. According to BRSA data, here are the provinces in Turkey with the highest deposit accounts:
