According to a statement made by Podolski's franchise to the Berliner Zeitung, this was only a "pop-up," meaning a "temporary" store from the very beginning.
The company stated that the snacks were "very well received by guests" and that they plan to open several more locations next year.
Insisting on opening new kebab shops in Berlin, Podolski had previously said, "If we are not going to open in Berlin, where else would we open?
We don't want to take anything away from anyone," and added, "We are starting with one shop for now, but of course, I have the motivation to expand our concept further."
