Driverless metro causes panic in Üsküdar
A driverless metro train on the Üsküdar-Samandıra Metro Line caused panic among passengers after it skipped 5 stations. Passengers, who managed to exit the train after it finally came to a halt, had to walk along the tracks to reach the next station.
The driverless metro on the Üsküdar-Samandıra Metro Line continued its journey without stopping at the Ümraniye, Çarşı, Yamanevler, Çakmak, and Ihlamurkuyu stations after dropping off passengers at the Bulgurlu station.
Passengers who were supposed to get off at these stations were unable to understand the situation.
Although passengers pressed the emergency stop button, the metro continued on its route and was only able to stop on the tracks near the Altınşehir station.
After exiting the metro on their own, the passengers were able to reach the station by walking along the tracks for a while.
