Vural Çelik, known for the characters Kubilay Peynircioğlu and Gülenay Peynircioğlu he played in the series Avrupa Yakası, has passed away at the age of 51.

Kubilay Peynircioğlu stands out as the child of a wealthy family. 

Having relationships with both Selin (Evrim Akın) and Yaprak (Hale Caneroğlu), Kubilay frequently found himself at odds with Volkan (Ata Demirer).

Kubilay also had a twin sister in the series named Gülenay.

The character of Gülenay was portrayed as the opposite of Kubilay, as a humble character living on the streets.

While the character of Gülenay stood out with her beautiful voice, whenever she sang, the characters in the series would start to cry. 

Kubilay Peynircioğlu was also a partner in the Avrupa Yakası magazine where Aslı, Fatoş, Yaprak, and Şehsu worked.
