Fatih Altaylı reports from prison: He revealed the name who saved his life twice!

Renowned journalist Fatih Altaylı made a striking confession during a meeting with National Path Party (Milli Yol Partisi) Chairman (formerly of the BBP) Remzi Çayır. Altaylı stated that the late Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu saved his life twice, once in Afghanistan and once in Chechnya. This statement provides an important clue regarding Altaylı's past political stance while offering a new perspective on Yazıcıoğlu's influence on his life.

Fatih Altaylı shared one of the special moments in his life involving Yazıcıoğlu, saying, "Even during the periods when I was harshly criticizing the Great Unity Party (BBP), we would talk with Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu. The late man saved my life once in Afghanistan and once in Chechnya."

With these statements, Altaylı emphasized the impact the BBP founder left both on an international level and in his personal life.

In his written letter, Altaylı recalled his conversations with Yazıcıoğlu and the time they spent together.

WHY DID YAZICIOĞLU DIE?

Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, the former chairman of the Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları), a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly for Sivas in the 19th, 20th, and 23rd terms, and the founder and first chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP), lost his life in a helicopter crash in Kahramanmaraş on March 25, 2009. Allegations of assassination had been raised regarding Yazıcıoğlu's death.
