Fatih Portakal explains by pointing out a striking detail: 'I am demanding two things from the state!'

While Turkey remains fixated on the Narin Güran murder case, Sözcü Main News anchor Fatih Portakal has issued a notable call.

AKP Diyarbakır Deputy Galip Ensarioğlu's statements regarding the family had also drawn backlash. Ensarioğlu had said, "There are things we sometimes do not know, and sometimes things we know but should not say. Because the family are also our friends. The subject is very sensitive. We do not want to say anything that would upset them too much either."

Portakal said the following during last night's program:

“This file needs to be opened. How did Narin's sister pass away in the past? Was it due to natural causes, or was she murdered? And there is something else that stands out: everyone is silent. Whether the people there have been intimidated or are being protected, they are not talking.”

“The political mechanism is certainly protecting them. Galip Ensarioğlu says, 'they are family friends, there are things we cannot say.' You named the child Narin, but you killed her and ended her life. The deceased remains dead.”
