Fenerbahçe has found its new midfield alternative: Christos Zafeiris
Fenerbahçe, looking to make at least one addition to its midfield, has turned its route to Czechia.
Fenerbahçe management, which does not want to continue with Zajc, Krunic, and Crespo, is continuing its efforts to sign a player who can play in the 6-8 positions.
Most recently, claims have emerged regarding 21-year-old Greek-Norwegian midfielder Christos Zafeiris.
The 1.73m tall central midfielder has reached a market value of 7 million euros while playing for Sparta Prague.
A transfer fee of approximately 5 million Euros is on the agenda for Zafeiris, who transferred from the Norwegian team Haugesund to Slavia Prague last January for a fee of 2.6 million Euros.
It is believed that Zafeiris will fill the gap in the midfield alongside Fred and İsmail.
Zafeiris, who also played in the matches where Slavia Prague eliminated Union SG in the Champions League qualifiers, had provided 1 assist.
Zafeiris has also made 16 appearances for the Norway U21 team, though he has yet to score a goal.
