The properties owned by arabesque artist Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away recently at the age of 79 in the hospital where he was receiving treatment, had caused a wide stir.

It was reported in the media that among the properties owned by Tayfur were a total of 87 real estate assets in Istanbul, Adana, and Marmaris, including 80 apartments, 7 villas, and a peninsula in Marmaris.

The amount of the famous artist's annual royalty income has also been revealed. Tayfur, who left behind a fortune of exactly 3 billion liras, will leave an average share of 600 million liras to each of his children.

On the other hand, Tayfur's inheritance is not limited to this.

The royalty income from the works Ferdi Tayfur produced throughout his life and the albums he produced has also been revealed on average. Through music professional associations, Ferdi Tayfur earned a total of 12 million TL from the payments made four times a year in his capacity as a copyright holder and producer.

Additionally, Tayfur earned 23 million liras from digital platforms. Thus, his annual royalty income reached 35 million liras. The use of Tayfur's works in projects such as advertisements is excluded from this figure.
