Following Bahçeli's 'Erdoğan' call, a signal for 'early elections' without saying 'early elections': 'Let's see what Erdoğan will say?'

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, while reiterating his call regarding Öcalan at his party's group meeting, said the following regarding the re-candidacy of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: "If Turkey reaches the peak of its political and economic stability, wouldn't it be a natural and correct choice for our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to be elected once more?"

Bahçeli brought forward the proposal for President Erdoğan to be elected once more.

He said, "Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is the guarantee for the construction of the Century of Turkey and must be elected once more. In this context, a constitutional amendment must be made. In our opinion, it is the only option."

There is no need for a constitutional amendment for Erdoğan to be elected for a third time. It is sufficient for Parliament to take an election decision. But let's see what Erdoğan will say to this proposal?
