Following the pork scandal, "lahmacun" is on the agenda: Don't eat it if it's below this price!

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has begun to disclose the names of companies that endanger human health and adulterate red meat.

Inspections have revealed that some companies were using chicken and horse meat instead of red meat. 

The detection of pork in the meatballs and doner kebab of the Köfteci Yusuf company has deepened the scandal.

Looking at the list, it is noteworthy that the most adulteration is found in lahmacun. So, what should be the minimum price for an unadulterated lahmacun?

According to a report by Türkiye newspaper, lahmacun is among the riskiest products. 

Thanks to the abundance of spices, soy sauce, and ingredients like chicken gizzards added to it, it is one of the foods where it is most difficult for the customer to detect fraud.

It is possible to achieve a flavor as if there were meat in it, without adding any ground meat, by using these methods. 

It has been stated that, considering the costs, a lahmacun made with real meat should cost around 100 TL.
